Hives

My daughter has been breaking out in hives at different times for the last 6 days.  Not sure why... I am going to take her to the doctor this week, but i was wondering if anyone knew of any natural solutions for soothing hives.  I hate that i have had to give her so much benadryl!

  1. :( sorry to hear that, Jen. You could whirl some oatmeal in your food processor until it's very fine and dissolve it in a bath to soak in. That would help with the itchiness.

  3. Jen, i've heard of increasing vitamin c. Our bodies take the amount of vitamin c that we need and then the rest is peed out so it won't hurt her if you chose to go that route. I believe it ups the immunity in our bodies fighting off possible allergens. as an option...
